The document, after several unsuccessful attempts, was supported by 236 people's deputies. At first, only 180 parliamentarians supported the document.
Then the head of the parliament, Andrei Parubiy, offered to return to him and even called for help to the head of the government Vladimir Groisman, who emphasized the technical nature of the bill and called upon the deputies to support the project as a whole.
After this, with a third attempt, the deputies supported the draft law.
Thus, the purpose of amending certain provisions of the Tax Code of Ukraine is the need to resolve the issue and remove the discrepancy regarding the exemption from taxation of income of foreign investors received from transactions with government and local loan bonds and incomes arising under state-guaranteed or appropriate local council borrowing.
In particular, the adoption of the law will make it possible to exempt from the tax on the income of a non-resident:
the income of a foreign investor in government securities and bonds of local loans paid by the central executive authority that ensures the formation and implementation of the state financial policy, or their issuer; income of a foreign investor from operations with debt securities, the performance of obligations under which is secured by state or local guarantees, if such incomes are paid by the relevant guarantor.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday, September 5, adopted in the second reading the bill number 3491-d "On Education". The document was supported by 255 people's deputies.
