This is reported by the Reuters news agency.

According to the ambassador, sanctions should weaken the country economically, which in turn should force Kim Jong-un to reduce the launch of ballistic missiles.

Haley said that the US will do everything possible to ensure that the most effective and "tough" sanctions were adopted on September 11 in the UN Security Council.

We will add that this will be the second gathering of Security Council representatives. The first training sessions took place after Pyongyang launched the launch of a ballistic missile for the sixth time.

Earlier, Pentagon chief James Mattis said that the US will "pressure" on the DPRK, but they still have many diplomatic levers of influence on North Korea.

As reported in URA-Inform, recently the President of the United States of America Donald Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed new sanctions against the DPRK.
