EU calls on Pyongyang to resume dialogue on its programs to develop nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. Such a statement on Sunday, September 3, made the President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

According to him, the EU calls on the Security Council of the United Nations to take further sanctions and demonstrate strong determination to achieve the peaceful denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula. The stakes are getting too high, "Tusk said in his statement, adding that the DPRK must completely abandon its nuclear weapons, weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs - irreversibly and in a way that could be checked.
