The North Atlantic Alliance condemned the North Korean nuclear bomb test as an open violation of UN Security Council resolutions. "NATO is concerned about the destabilizing model of Pyongyang's behavior, which poses a threat to regional and international security," said Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the alliance.
North Korea, he said, should immediately stop all nuclear missile tests in order to be able to resume dialogue with the international community. Refusal of tests should be final and controlled.
The authorities of North Korea on September 3 officially declared that they had successfully conducted a hydrogen bomb test. In the message of the hostel, it is pointed out that the test was a "significant step" in the development of Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program.
South Korean specialists who follow the atomic tests of neighbors reported that the recorded explosion was the strongest in the entire history of measurements: it was 9.8 times stronger than the previous nuclear test in September 2016.
