Canada has increased its military presence in Poland since the annexation of the Crimea.

We are talking about 200 servicemen who have been in Poland for three years already. This military regularly participated in various military exercises throughout Europe, according to Ukrinform.

Military equipment and equipment from Poland will be sent to Latvia, where there is a multinational battalion, which is headed by Canada.

Over the past three years, since the annexation of the Crimea, Canada has been helping to support security in Central and Eastern Europe.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Ukraine in 2018 plans to purchase from Canada defense equipment. The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak stated that our country and the state of Canada agreed on the purchase of Canadian defense equipment during 2018.
