It will be a completely different structure - the criminal police, where the approach will be improved. On Wednesday, August 9, in an interview with journalists of one of the Ukrainian television channels, said the head of the National Police of Ukraine Sergey Knyazev.
According to him, it is necessary to withdraw from the institution of total agents and recruitment. Now it is necessary to suppress crime, and for this we need new instruments of influence.
He also assured that recruiting up to ten thousand agents is not necessary and therefore, will go the other way, although not without recruitment.
At the same time, Knyazev added that criminal intelligence will be created in a short time, and will be "sufficiently effective".
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Knyazev assured that in two years of existence the new Ukrainian police uncovered more than 300 thousand crimes, detained 180 thousand criminals.
