Street racers arrange races through the streets of cities, and then spread the video of racing in the network. Or broadcast online. A year ago a scandal broke out - the race was already with the police officers. Sons-loafers of very well-to-do parents laughed at the policeman's face and claimed that they would be fired.

Really to punish overage children and it was not possible, there is no suitable law. And behind them millions and billions of daddy capitals and the best lawyers. Meanwhile, the race continues, not only along the streets, but also along the sidewalks and lawns.

After the accusations brought against the police by the "sausage princess" Mara Baghdasaryan, they took on her. Behind her was a lot of unpaid fines for all sorts of violations. And the accident with fatal outcomes, the girl also did not learn anything. As a result, Maru was sentenced to 595 hours of correctional labor. However, she did not become a janitor, brought certificates that work on the street to her is contraindicated, and began to sort through the papers in the office.

Meanwhile, street racers are punished all over the world, and very tough. In Belarus, for such a "heroism" you can easily remain without a car, in the US - to lose freedom for six years, in some European countries and even more - up to 15 years of imprisonment, and here and there life imprisonment. In Dubai for one year for the race on the roads of the emirate 15 thousand cars were seized from the owners. Among them, the chic "Ferrari", "Porsche" and one of the fastest motorcycles in the world "Suzuki Hayabusa". Participation in racing on the car is punishable by a fine of 27 thousand dollars, on motorcycles - 13,5 thousand dollars. Police patrol cars in the emirates are equipped with intelligent cameras and systems capable of reading license plates of vehicles, and determine the validity of their registration.

The issue of toughening the punishment of street racers was considered in the State Duma. On street racers it was offered to extend the concept of "Hooliganism", adding to it. Various options are being considered to strengthen the liability, including confiscation of the car and the introduction of criminal liability. All the deputies agree that the existing punishment is not enough. A fine of 5 thousand rubles is a trifle for an auto owner for several million rubles or dollars. There is a proposal to equate the "riders" to drunkards at the wheel and punish the same way. Thus, a fine may amount to 30 thousand rubles. "Racer" will be deprived of rights for up to 2 years. If the violation is repeated, criminal punishment will be imposed, up to imprisonment for up to two years. The leader of the LDPR party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, believes that for street racers the most terrible punishment will be the expulsion of five years from Moscow:

"We need to introduce a new type of punishment - a reference, as was the case with the tsar. From Moscow to send for five years, for them this is the most terrible punishment, where mom and dad will not help ". The head of the Federation Council Committee on Rules Vadim Tyulpanov proposes replenishing article 213 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Hooliganism") with the item "when driving a vehicle". Punishment under this article provides for punishment in the form of a large fine, forced labor and imprisonment of up to 5 years.
