Polish President to veto law on judicial reform

This is reported by Gazeta. Pl. This law was approved by both chambers of the Polish parliament. And caused massive protests across the country. Duda noted that although the Polish judicial system requires changes, but he does not agree with the law passed by the parliament.

"I decided that I will send it back to the Sejm, that is, I will veto the bill on the Supreme Court, as well as on the issue of the National Council of the Judiciary," said Andrzej Duda.

Despite the criticism of the European Union and the mass protests in the country, on July 22 the Polish Senate passed a bill to reform the Supreme Court.
