At the same time in Lviv is preparing a nationwide project "Ukrainian Song". This is stated in the message the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

As explained in the government, in the framework of preparation and celebration of the 26th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine on Wednesday, July 19, at the meeting, the government approved a plan of solemn events. In particular, it provides for holding a military parade on Khreshchatyk Street in the capital, promoting the Ukrainian TV national project "Ukrainian Song" in Lviv, as well as ensuring the creation of various media, educational and cultural projects, meetings, diplomatic receptions and memory of heroes who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine's independence.

The press service also told that the plan of measures was developed after the president's decree by the participants of the organizing committee, which was created by the decision of the Cabinet.

Among the events is the holding of the National Flag Day in all the settlements of Ukraine and foreign diplomatic institutions.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak said that during the parade to the Independence Day of Ukraine planned solemn passage of troops and an exhibition of modern weapons.
