For the world, it would be better if by the time of the verdict there would be another person in the Kremlin's seat who would not be responsible for the destruction of the Boeing. In the report presented by the Bellingcat expert group on the third anniversary of the destruction of the Malaysian airliner, Buk No. 332 of the Russian Armed Forces Was practically the only weapon capable of bringing down the plane of flight MH17.

Actually, I do not think that this is sensational news - unless for Russians who continue to consistently deny their involvement in the destruction of the aircraft and to come up with one version is implausible the other.

The fact that the Malaysian aircraft was destroyed by a Russian missile was clear from the first minute after reports of the tragedy came. And it was not just a logical conclusion. The destruction of the aircraft was first reported by Russian mercenaries - only they believed that it was a Ukrainian military aircraft. And this, too, was not a sensation then, because - in the event of the destruction of the Ukrainian aircraft - this would not be the first target destroyed by the Russians.

The Kremlin decided to prevent Ukrainian aviation from fighting bandits armed with Russia and regular Russian troops that entered the territory of a neighboring country. Without such a decision, no modern Russian military equipment in the Donbass could have appeared.

Since then, for three years now, there has been a scrupulous investigation into the causes of the disaster. We, of course, would like to see it end in just a few months. But the withdrawal of justice is not a newspaper article.

In the decision of the international tribunal - when it starts to work - everything should be so obvious that doubts about the correctness and impartiality of its conclusions can arise only from the immediate perpetrators of the destruction of the aircraft and their propaganda. But more - no one.

But besides scrupulousness there is still fear. It's one thing to simply say that it was Putin, and another thing to prove this, to turn into the result of a court verdict. Now the Russian president is still traveling around international conferences, his hand is shaking, he is slapped on the shoulder. But with a war criminal whose fault is proven, it will not be easy to communicate and seek a compromise.

Therefore, for the world it would be better that by the time of the verdict in Putin's place in the Kremlin there would be another person who did not answer for the destruction of Boeing. And the procedure for identifying perpetrators can be synchronized with the procedure for dismantling the Russian political regime. So it really can be better for everyone.

Nevertheless, it was Putin. It was his desire to put an end to Ukrainian freedom by military means that created a favorable atmosphere for the commission of crimes in which the destruction of the "Boeing".

It was his decisions - as the president of Russia and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Russian Federation - that led to an attack on Ukraine in the Crimea and Donbass.

It was he who appealed to the Federation Council with a request to allow him to use troops for this attack.

It was his servicemen who brought the "Buk" to the territory of Ukraine, destroyed a passenger plane from it and took the unit back to the territory of Russia.

From responsibility for this crime, Putin can not hide behind the backs of Russian soldiers and officers, or even behind the backs of his accomplices - Shoigu, Medvedev, Patrushev and other members of the Security Council of Russia who agreed with the invasion of the territory of Ukraine. And today, on the third anniversary of the destruction of the Malaysian airliner, we can rightly recall that the name of the criminal is known, his political responsibility is obvious, and the criminal responsibility will sooner or later be proved and will be reflected in a fair trial verdict.
