This on Monday, July 17, on his Facebook page, said the European Union Ambassador Hug Mingarelli. According to him, the EU stresses the need to create an independent, effective judicial body with the necessary powers and the necessary resources to fight corruption.

We call for a transparent and independent process to establish this body and select specialized judges, "Mingarelli said, adding that the European Union has closely followed the process of creating the proper judicial tools for the trial of corruption offenses, according to the Law of Ukraine on Judicial System and Status of Judges, which the parliament adopted in Last year.

Recall, in early September, a round table on the next steps in the establishment of appropriate institutions aimed at bringing corrupt officials to justice in Ukraine.

As reported URA-Inform, previously Vladimir Groisman said that despite the fact that the pension reform plan is on schedule, and steps are being taken to create an anti-corruption court, the draft law on land reform will not be submitted on time.
