56.6% of Ukrainians called the world the most important value for themselves, writes the Left Bank.

This is evidenced by a sociological survey conducted by the Gorshenin Institute in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and Belarus. His results were presented at the Gorshenin Institute on Tuesday, July 11.

At the same time, 42.7% of respondents indicated the importance of the value of human life.

Director of the VFE office Mattes Bube, commenting on the results of this study, pointed out that these percentages are slightly higher than in Europe as a whole. In his opinion, this indicates a severe trauma caused to the Ukrainians by the war in the Donbass.

He also believes that this is a strong political signal for the current government.

"I have a feeling that many Ukrainians leave politics to politicians, it's hard for them to judge who is better," Bube.

He noted that the government, which is not capable of securing peace, will have big problems in the next election.
