Military expert Alexei Arestovich said that the Ukrainian army should not be saturated with military equipment, since our country will not pull it economically, and therefore we need to look for a "non-standard solution".
He said this in an interview with "Apostrophe".
"A non-standard solution is, for example, anti-tank precision weapons, anti-tank complexes, which we manufacture. And that's why they are so slowly produced, the same Stugna (anti-tank missile system, Apostrophe) and all the others - this is a big question, "says the expert..
He stressed that the Ukrainian army is armed with samples of different eras: from the "Maxim" machine gun to the most modern rifles. According to the expert, now the Armed Forces most in need of closed communication facilities.
According to Arestovich, the enemy is superior to the Ukrainian army in such weapons as electronic intelligence, electronic warfare, drones and some types of artillery.
"We need drone drones, anti-tank complexes and guided corrected artillery shells, for example," - listed the expert.
He stressed that although the militants are now suffering larger losses than the Ukrainian troops, but so far for them it is uncritical. According to Arestovich, the turning point might be the West's supply of lethal weapons.
"That is, they will bear greater costs for this war than the effects they receive. Then they will start thinking about the state strategic level, how much they need it, "- concluded Arestovich.
