Ukraine counts on the extension of EU economic sanctions against Russia, - MFA

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

As noted, the Ukrainian country expects to extend the period of the EU's sectoral and economic sanctions against Russia to the full implementation of its international obligations. In particular, the cessation of aggression against Ukraine in the Crimea and the Donbas.

The Foreign Ministry also commented on the extension of the "Crimean package" of EU sanctions.



"We highly appreciate the constant attention of the EU to the development of the situation in the occupied Crimea, which is characterized by serious systemic violations in the field of human rights, in particular, the growing repression by the occupation authorities against ethnic Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars," the Foreign Ministry added..

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, senators of the United States intend to tighten anti-Russian sanctions because of interference in the American elections.
