The group decided to exclude Alexander Onishchenko, and Sergey Melnichuk himself left her ranks. On Friday, June 9, during the plenary session, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy.

According to him, according to the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, in the current convocation a faction or deputy group should consist of at least 19 parliamentarians. At the same time, in the "Will of the People" after the official statement made on Friday, 17 people's deputies remained, which is the reason for the dissolution of the group, "explained the head of parliament.

Let's remind, Onishchenko was elected to the parliament of the VIII convocation from the majority district №93 Kiev region.

He is suspected by law enforcement agencies of Ukraine in organizing a scheme to steal funds during the extraction and sale of natural gas in the framework of agreements on joint activities with PJSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya", as a result of which the state suffered damage amounting to about three billion hryvnia.

Melnichuk went to the Verkhovna Rada on the lists of the Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko, but was subsequently excluded from its membership and joined the deputy group "The Will of the People".

As reported URA-Inform, the Verkhovna Rada has granted consent to bringing him to justice, detention and arrest on July 5, 2016. Now he was declared on the national wanted list on August 8, 2016.
