At the Warsaw summit of NATO it was clearly decided that until 2020 Ukraine will reach all standards in the field of security and defense dimension. Such an opinion on Thursday, June 8, on the air of one of the Ukrainian television channels, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin.

He also said that one more indicator has now been posted, but, nevertheless, we are on the way to NATO membership, since NATO is the only security system that is built not just on interests, but on values. The Minister also expressed confidence that Ukraine is already starting to work as an element of the eastern flank of NATO, this is evident in the sense of the exercises that we are doing with the allies, this is gradually what we are doing in the context of achieving NATO standards.

Already now, all the allies understand that Ukraine can make a unique contribution to security, since everyone understands what we did in three years and what army was built and proved that we are able to fight for freedom and values, "Klimkin said, adding that Ukraine will go To the end and will be successful.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, June 8, adopted the Law of Ukraine "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine" (on the foreign policy course of Ukraine) (registration number 6470).
