This is reported by Radio Liberty.

As noted, 62 of the 120 parliamentarians voted for the candidacy, 44 voted against, five abstained.

In turn, the leader of the ruling party, Zoran Zaev, took the oath as prime minister immediately after the vote.

In addition, he promised to step up his government in economic reform.

He also deeply hopes that he will accelerate the country's accession to the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance.

Zaev also proposed to the parliament a list of candidates for deputy prime ministers and ministers for the new government.

By the way, the debate over his proposal in parliament lasted several days.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform," from the Balkan countries, official candidates for membership in the EU are Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro. Bosnia applied for membership in early 2016.
