First after the election of the new president of France, the Franco-Russian summit promised to become a real political sensation - and expectations justified themselves. It was interesting to watch how the young energetic president of France behaves with the Russian political long-liver. However, from the very first moment, Makron was in the preferred position. It's not he flew to Putin in Moscow, and Putin himself rushed to Paris for the first time in five years. And it can not be said that a warm welcome awaited him in Paris, Glavred.

To begin with, the negotiations were not held at the Elysee Palace - the official residence of the French presidents, but in the royal museum Versailles, where Putin came to open the next exhibition. So it was already not negotiations, but rather an official meeting on the sidelines of the exhibition. The more interesting it was to listen to what Putin and Macron would say after three hours of conversation - judging by the expressions of their faces, not the most pleasant.

In world politics it is customary in recent years to talk about "red lines". Speaking of them and Makron, who recalled that the use of chemical weapons in Syria is a "red line", followed by a response - attention, not an American, but a French response. But the French president himself passed all possible "red lines" of Putin. And when he harshly stressed that sanctions against Russia would continue until the settlement in Ukraine. And when he did not hesitate to tell the truth about the Putin propagandists from the foul-packed "Russia today" and "Sputnik", noting that these are not journalists. But most importantly - Makron began a joint press conference with a commitment to monitor the fate of gays in Chechnya, along with Putin. Against the backdrop of Russian cave homophobia, this was a real demonstration flogging of the medieval barbarian, an attempt on the very foul-smelling scraps that the Putin himself is so proud of and various ". And Putin had to listen to this. By the way, the first gay refugee from Chechnya, France, demonstratively took on the day of his visit.

There was no mutual understanding. Macron, however, promised to organize a Franco-Russian dialogue of civil societies on the German model, but it is rather a beautiful French bow on the cake thrown into the trash. And because there is no influential civil society in Russia and can not be.

And because even Russian-German conferences are directed not by real activists, but by imitating officials who turn any dialogue into a tragicomedy. And Russian-French conversations will not be different from Russian-German conversations, I assure you.

Because the doctor's dialogue with the patient - besides not understanding how seriously his illness and not wishing to be treated - is never a "constructive exchange of opinions". It seems that even at the first meeting with Putin, Macron could understand the deep abyss this patient had fallen through.
