According to the document, the rural green is considered to be a specific type of economic activity in the form of rural hospitality, which is the provision of services to provide recreation for urban residents in private farms in rural areas, using the property and labor resources of members of personal peasant farming, natural recreational characteristics of the terrain, Historical and ethnographic heritage of the region.

At the same time, the authors of the initiative emphasize the paramount importance of the social aspect of this activity. In their view, the purpose of this document will be a legal definition of the concept of rural green tourism, and thereby a clear delineation of entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial activities in the field of tourism in rural areas.

The document also provides for amending the Law on Private Farms, according to which members of such farms can provide services on a fee or free basis in the field of rural green tourism, namely, accommodation services for not more than ten places, meals, leisure and Activities related to the use of the property of the economy, local customs and traditions of hospitality.
