Founder of Wikileaks website Julian Assange is going to sue Sweden. On Friday, May 19, after a report that the prosecutor's office in Stockholm had annulled the warrant for his arrest, the Swedish agency TT was told by Assange's lawyer Per Samuelson, noting that it was not about money, but about satisfaction.

Assange himself takes an uncompromising stance. "I was imprisoned without charge for seven years, while my children grew up, and my name was denigrated. I will not forgive and will not forget, "- wrote in his microblog Twitter.

Detained for 7 years without charge by while my children grew up and my name was slandered. I do not forgive or forget.

- Julian Assange (@JulianAssange) May 19, 2017 Speaking from the balcony of the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he is from 2012, Assange expressed his hope for a dialogue with the British side about his future destiny. He noted that his lawyers had already contacted the British authorities on this issue.

Ecuador hopes that Britain will give him the opportunity to leave the country without hindrance. This was written on Twitter Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Guillaume Long, indicating that the European warrant for the arrest of Assange is no longer valid.

The London police earlier said that they intend to detain Assange immediately after leaving the embassy, ??since the British warrant for his arrest was issued after he did not appear in court, thereby violating the law.

Another lawyer of the founder of the Wikileaks disclosure site, Juan Branco, informed the French television and radio company France Info that, fearing extradition to the US, Assange plans to apply for political asylum, particularly in France. This was written by DW.
