A prolonged pause in the negotiations on the occupation of Donbass causes a logical irritation in the Kremlin. The content of the administration in the occupied territories, according to various estimates, costs the budget of the Russian Federation in the amount of two to four billion a year. Add to this figure the content of militants, of which more than thirty thousand. They need to be fed, paid wages, dressed, fueled, political scientist Kirill Sazonov writes on the portal EspresoTV.

And this was before the closure of the "nationalized" enterprises, where people received some kind of salary. Now the costs will rise. Plus losses from sanctions. The stolen "suitcase without a handle" is harder to bear. So Moscow has to look for solutions not only military, but also diplomatic ones.

As part of the solution to this problem, the Russian representative in the contact group at the talks in Minsk, Boris Gryzlov, announced that Russia insists on introducing a special status for Donbass in the "Steinmeier formula". He also said that there is no alternative to Minsk agreements. If anyone has forgotten, then I venture to recall that the so-called "Steinmeier formula" is the most optimal scenario for the Russian Federation.

It determines the mechanism for enacting a law on a special order of local self-government in certain regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions on an interim basis on election day and on a regular basis - after the publication of the OSCE report on the results of elections.

What is the "special status" for Donbass? This is actually the verdict of Ukraine's independence. Local authorities get all the rights and almost does not depend on Kiev. Their leaders, their own people's militia (these are amnestied militants), their own prosecutor's office and courts. My history, my education.

Practically complete independence from Ukraine, with the exception of one nuance. Kiev is obliged to finance all this holiday from the state budget under the protected article.

You can save on Ukrainian teachers, doctors, military, policemen - but you can not cut a penny off of an ORDL. As a cherry on the cake, the Verkhovna Rada deputies from ORDLO are slightly steeper than deputies from other regions - they have the right to veto decisions on foreign policy. Luxurious set, right?.

Of course, such a decision will put an end to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, returning us for a long time to the sphere of Russian influence. And, naturally, it will provoke other regional elites to fight for the same rights. Transcarpathia, part of the Odessa region - these are the first swallows. Next will be more.

We inevitably get pro-Russian power and Lviv and its neighbors also leave. As a result, in two years Ukraine will remain Kiev region. Although, most likely, the process will go faster. After such a feint with ears in Kiev and other cities will begin mass protests, the authorities will demolish and for some time there will be anarchy.

Moscow is satisfied with both scenarios, since in fact they mean the liquidation of a strong and independent Ukraine. Of course, "Russia insists on the speedy implementation of this item of the Minsk agreements".

I will be as correct as possible, but except for "go to the pedestrian erotic journey," I have nothing to say to Gryzlov. We are not stupid, we perfectly see the trap in which you want to entice us. Ukraine will be preserved as a strong and independent state, primarily from Russia.

With Donbass or without - Ukraine will.

And all your artful options under the general stamp "Horse of Troyan, Pedalny" will not pass.

They will die right away in the Verkhovna Rada, the benefit of the "war party" is strong enough for us. Do you want peace? Get out of the Donbass and from the Crimea. It is fair to return the stolen goods and remove the garbage. And while you are hoping to deceive us, continue to feed the occupied territories. A fool must pay for his stupidity every day. This discipline and stimulates the development of the brain.
