The EU will be replenished in the future with new members, it will not be limited to only 27 countries. Such an opinion on Thursday, May 11, in an interview with La Stampa was expressed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy Federica Magerini.
She also explained that negotiations are currently under way between the Balkan countries on accession.
As for the prospects for Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo, Magerini noted that everything depends on the relations of each of these countries with the EU, which achieved significant success, healing the "wounds of the war" for 20 years.
Recall from the Balkan countries, the official candidates for joining the EU are Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro. Bosnia applied for membership in early 2016.
As reported URA-Inform, British Prime Minister Teresa May awaits heavy negotiations with the EU on Brexit.
