The training center of the Command Command Training of the 7th Army of the US Armed Forces in Grafenvir (Germany) opened the international tank competition "Strong Europe". This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The acting Secretary of the US Army Robert Spear congratulated the participants and communicated with the tank crews of the US Armed Forces, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, Poland, Austria and Ukraine, which this year will fight the main trophy of the competition.

Competitions jointly organized by the US Armed Forces in Europe and the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Germany will be held for the second time at the Grafenvir training ground. Last year's winners were German tankmen, who are now performing in the modern fighting tank of the family "Leopard" A6.

- All participants of the competition have already become winners, because they are the best in their countries. I have no doubt that every crew will leave Grafenwiir with new knowledge and experience, "said Brigadier General Tony Aguto, commander of the Command of the Training for the 7th Army of the US Armed Forces.

The competition will also be followed by representatives of the armed forces of Norway, Italy, Belgium and Greece.

Today, on May 8, the first stage of the competition starts, where Ukrainians will be confronted by American crews on tanks "Abrams".
