The semantic construction of the Russian political TV show about Ukraine has undergone major changes.

About this on facebook writes Oleksiy Nesterenko.

Henceforth, they are called upon to demonstrate the ugly bickering of Ukrainians among themselves, while Russia is so wise, neutral, friendly and democratic, provides only "a conciliatory platform for the exchange of opinions".

In fact, the "platform for exchange of opinions" is the arena of the circus tent, where Ukrainians touring in Russia now act as clowns before Russian audiences under the skilful management of behind-the-scenes directors.

And the main goal of the directors is to demonstrate that Ukrainians are marginal characters who in principle are not able to agree among themselves. And they need somehow to save.

Which implies the validity and consistency of any Russian intervention in Ukrainian affairs "to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe on a continental scale".

The guest performers quite consciously fulfill this role.
