Ukraine informs the Secretary General of the Council of Europe on the development of the situation and asks for an extension of the departure from the European Convention on Human Rights, as there is no improvement in the situation in the east of the country. According to him, only the Ukrainian government can decide when Ukraine can return to the ECHR in full throughout the country. If the state adopts such a decision, it must inform the Secretary General of the Council of Europe and explain the situation that led to this, the measures that the state must apply, and why they violate the ECHR.

Ukraine has completed this procedure, - said Comte.
