The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine declares that the holding of the said event is a grave violation of the state sovereignty of Ukraine, Ukrainian legislation, generally recognized norms of international law, including the UN Charter, UN General Assembly resolutions "Territorial Integrity of Ukraine" of March 27, 2014 and " Person in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol "of December 19, 2016, as well as other multilateral international treaties.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian diplomatic department, in its note of Ukraine it expresses a categorical demand that the Russian side take urgent measures to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, to strictly adhere to universally recognized norms of international law and to immediately stop the practice of holding any events at its Sovereign territory.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the International Court of the United Nations on Wednesday, April 19, at a meeting ordered Russia to ensure the work of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. Russia should also resume training in the Ukrainian language in the annexed Crimea. The corresponding decision was announced by the President of the Court, Ronnie Abraham.
