As OSCE representative Tana de Zuleta explained, the procedures that were used in the referendum did not meet international standards. According to her, the Turkish Electoral Commission gave permission to use during the referendum as valid ballots those that do not contain official stamps.

This does not give guarantees of fraud insurance, Zuleta said, adding that the monitoring group described a number of violations in the referendum, including a pre-election campaign with a bias in favor of a pro-vote, intimidating a campaign that opposed the expansion of presidential powers, That the question of referendum was not included in the bulletin.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, yesterday at a referendum in Turkey, slightly more than 51% of voters supported the initiative to expand the authority of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
