The head of the capital wants the Government to allow the restoration of the subway from May 25. This was stated by Vitali Klitschko during his daily briefing on May 13.

This will allow to redistribute the flow of passengers and normalize the operation of all public transport in the capital, "

At the same time, the mayor of Kiev added that he will monitor the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the capital and hopes that the situation will not worsen.

Klitschko also noted that the metro should work as usual, and not on special passes, as it now works with trams, trolleybuses and minibuses in Kiev, due to the fact that this will lead to huge crowds of people.

Earlier, Klitschko warned that in Kiev they could increase quarantine if the situation worsens.
