They also reported that the Kiev authorities bought gas to supply Kiev residents with hot water from private companies. This gas should be enough to finally settle the situation with debt to Naftogaz.

Earlier, the KSCA was informed that they were not going to "inherit" Kyivenergo's debts to Naftogaz.

The gas company was informed that this was contrary to the law, and the Kiev authorities "exerted public pressure on Naftogaz".

Naftogaz, in turn, said that it will supply gas to Kyivteploenergo after resolving the issue with debt.

The day before the court postponed hearing on this issue on September 10, in connection with which the capital will sit without hot water, probably until October.
