The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission will consider a proposal on reducing heating tariffs for the majority of Kyiv residents on June 14. This is evidenced by the draft resolution of the meeting on the website of the NKREC.

According to the draft, from August 1, it is proposed to reduce the tariff for Kyivteploenergo for the production of heat energy, which is used to produce and provide services to the population for centralized heating and centralized supply of hot water by 29%.

Compared to the current tariffs of the power company Kyivenergo, the successor of which is Kyivteploenergo, the heat tariff for the population will decrease by 320.38 UAH / Gcal to 784.58 UAH / Gcal (VAT excluded).

After the adoption of the Commission draft decision will be submitted to public hearings.

for the production of thermal energy for the provision of services for centralized heating and centralized supply of hot water to religious organizations - 479.06 hryvnia / Gcal, institutions that are financed from the state and local budgets - 1,171.89 hryvnia / Gcal and for the needs of other consumers - 1 181.05 UAH / Gcal.
