Free public Wi-Fi is available in Kyiv's public land transport. This was announced by the deputy head of KSCA Dmitry Davtyan, the press service of the city administration.

According to him, in all (1211) land transport units - buses, trams, trolley buses - there is access to free Internet at a speed of up to 4 Mbit / s.

"Even if all passengers simultaneously connect to the network, then the speed will not affect this. If the passengers in the cabin is less, then the network speed can be more than 4 Mbit / s ", - assured the official.

In each salon have already installed a router with a modem.

In Kyivpastrans it is assured that the installation of the Internet did not cost anything to the city budget, because its company-provider benefits from advertising. During the connection to the network, a 10-second advertisement message will be broadcast.

Recall, from July 14 travel in public transport of the capital will cost 8 UAH instead of the current 4 UAH.
