The Kiev territorial department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has launched an official monitoring of hotels in Kiev because of the information received about the increase in prices before the Champions League final. This was reported by the head of the Kiev regional administration of the AMCU Alexei Khmelnitsky on his Facebook page on Tuesday, May 8.

"Because of the excitement caused by reports of an increase in the prices of hotels for the period of the Champions League final, the Kiev territorial branch of the AMCU has begun official monitoring of the market of hotel services in the capital," he wrote..

At the same time, Khmelnitsky noted that because of the lack of information it is too early to talk about a possible collusion or opening a case.

Earlier it was reported that at the time of the final match of the hotel in Kiev raised prices in the tens, and some - and hundreds of times.

In response, the people of Kiev launched a flashmob # FreeKyivCouch4Fans, whose goal is a free reception at home fans who will come to the Champions League final.
