Detained for a bribe judge of the capital's Goloseevskiy District Court, Andrei Novak withdrew from the remand center after depositing a security deposit of UAH 120,000. This was reported by a member of the Supreme Council of Justice Vladimir Govorukha at a meeting on Wednesday, May 2.
According to the Ukrainian news, the amount of the pledge was 120 thousand hryvnia.
"The decision of the Solomensky court applied Novak's measure of restraint in the form of detention until June 21. The same decision determined the amount of the pledge that was made, and Nowak is present at the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, "said Govorukha.
He also voiced the petition of the head of SAP Nazar Kholodnitsky about dismissing Novak from the position of judge for 2 months because he can destroy evidence and influence witnesses or court personnel.
The request of the head of the SAP was satisfied in part. "Temporarily, until June 24, to remove the judge of the Goloseevskiy District Court Novak Andrei Vasilyevich ... in connection with bringing to criminal responsibility," - concluded Govorukha.
Recall Novak was detained on April 23 when receiving thousands of dollars of bribes.
