Already on the site of the Kyiv city council there was a petition, which is offered to rename Komarov Prospect in honor of Kadenyuk.

Let us note that Vladimir Komarov is also an astronaut, twice Hero of the USSR, commander of the world's first crew of a spaceship. However, the authors of the petition believe that if it is not related to Kiev, then its streets should not be.

According to the text of the petition, the figure of cosmonaut Komarov is in no way connected with the city of Kiev, but is a consequence of the Soviet postcolonial past. In addition, it is on this avenue that the National Aviation University.

Therefore, it is worthwhile to commemorate the first astronaut of independent Ukraine Leonid Kadenyuk in the name of the prospectus at the National Aviation University.

The decision was registered and has already collected 40 signatures from 10,000 required.
