On the Day of Unification in the center of Kiev will limit the movement

The Kyiv administration decided to close traffic on Gorodetsky Street on Monday, January 22, in connection with the celebration of the Day of Unification of Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the city authorities. It is noted that the traffic will be blocked from 11:00 to 12:00 from Khreshchatyk Street to Zankovetskaya Street in both directions. On the occasion of the Day of Unification of Ukraine in the capital, a number of events are planned. In particular, the ceremony of the solemn laying of flowers to the monuments of Taras Shevchenko and Mikhail Grushevsky with the participation of the leadership of the state and the city. On January 22, the Day of Unification of Ukraine will be held on the Paton Bridge, and on the pavement of Khreshchatyk Street (from the European Square to Bessarabskaya Square) there will be an All-Ukrainian Treasury Action Uniting Ukraine.

"During the celebration of the Day of Unification, it is possible to restrict the movement of transport with the corresponding introduction of changes in the movement of public transport in the places of events," the KSCA. Also, on the Day of Unification, museums and libraries of the city will be opened with expositions on the history of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, which will tell you about the role they played in the process of Ukraine's independence. Recall that earlier in Kiev, partially restricted traffic on three bridges - the South, Moscow and across the river Desenka.
