It is noted that all the months of the year had a significant excess of average monthly temperatures relative to the climatic norm, especially March - by 5.5 ° C. The coldest was January 7, when the temperature dropped to -18.7 ° C, and on the hottest day - on August 4, when the temperature in the shade reached +34.7 ° C.
In total in 2017, in Kiev, recorded 24 temperature records, most (6 and 7) - in April and September, respectively (all - in excess of previous values).
As for the precipitation, they fell 590 mm, which corresponds to 91% of the climatic norm. But the distribution was uneven - more than two monthly rates in October and December, and in other months the precipitation was not enough, which adversely affected the agriculture and water management.
It is noted that the beginning of January in Kiev was not without a temperature record.
