The authorities of the city were forced to announce the shutdown of transport without observing the timetable due to the deterioration of weather conditions and the complicated traffic. At the moment on the roads there is a complicated situation in all areas of the capital, the level of traffic jams in Kiev reaches six points.
During December 18-19 in the capital dropped the monthly level of snowfall, on some roads the thickness of the snow cover reaches 50-70 centimeters.
City utilities have thrown 450 vehicles to clear the roads from the elements, but the advancement of transport is still difficult.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", the city authorities called on drivers to use public transport for the period of snowfall, so as not to create congestion and allow the snow-removing equipment to run around the city without hindrance.
