In Kiev, rename the Moscow Bridge and a dozen streets

The Kyiv City Council agreed on the names for streets, parks, squares and other objects that have not yet been decommunized. The Standing Committee of the Kyiv City Council on Culture, Tourism and Information Policy adopted a number of renaming of the capital's toponyms. This was reported by the press service of the City Council on Tuesday, November 28. In particular, it is proposed to rename: - the Moscow Bridge - to the North Bridge in the Obolonsky district of Kiev. - Henry Barbusse Street - to Vasily Tyutyunnik Street in Pechersky District; - Panfilov's lane - in the lane of Job Boretsky in the Pechersk district; The name will receive and anonymous square, bounded by the streets Zhilyanskaya, Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya and Physical Culture. It is proposed to be called Troitskaya. In addition, the names of some green zones of the capital are ordered. In particular, it is proposed: - to name the square between the streets Zhylianska, Korolenkovskaya and Tarasovskaya by the name of Dimitry Peshev; - assign a square in the street Sichovyh Streltsov, 27 name - Canadian; - rename the square of Andrei Ivanov between Mikhail Yemelyanovich-Pavlenko Street and Butishevym Lane in the Latvian Park; - specify the name of the Obolon Recreation Park in the Natalka tract, namely - give it the name Natalka Park; - rename the park of Friendship of Peoples in the Park of Muromets. In addition, the Commission for Cultural Affairs agreed the return to the Komsomolsky massif of the historical name of the North Brovary and the Chapaevka microdistrict - the historic name Vita-Litovskaya. For the entry into force of these changes should still support the deputies during the plenary session of the Kyiv city council. Earlier, the Kyiv City Council rejected a petition on Vatutin Avenue. And in Kropiwnicki deputies renamed the city council.
