Among the detainees and the former second commander of the Battalion "Donbass" Anatoly Vinogrodsky. They are detained for attacking a security guard of one of the enterprises in the Kirovograd region.

As reported by the Department of Communications of the National Police, one of the former leaders of the battalion of Donbass and a former volunteer of the armed group were detained this morning.

During the investigation, the police found that on 27 July around noon detainees together with other persons arrived on the territory of the enterprise.

There, they beaten the guard with brass knuckles and sticks, and then took away his personal property, causing damage worth over 650 thousand hryvnia.

The police also argue that the detention was carried out on the basis of court orders in Kiev and Zhitomir region.

At the same time during the detention, in the car of one of the detainees, law enforcement officers found bits and knives.

The actions of the detainees were qualified by the investigators under the article on robbery. They were notified in absentia of suspicion and now they face a penalty of imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.
