As a result of the incident, a five-year-old boy was killed. According to the press service of the State Emergency Service, they received information about the fire around noon.

Eyewitnesses reported that one of the flats on the eighth floor of a nine-story apartment building on Simirenko Street in Svyatoshinsky district of the city. Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, rescuers determined that there are people in the apartment.

Already in two hours the fire managed to extinguish and save people who were in the apartment.

An ambulance took a five-year-old boy, a man and a woman, to a hospital with severe burns. However, doctors could not save the child.

Rescuers were also evacuated from the ninth floor of a woman and two children. The causes and circumstances of the incident will be determined by the investigation.
