From 21:00 on September 15 to 6:00 on September 18, Khreshchatyk Street in Kiev will be closed for transportation from the street B. Khmelnitsky to the street Mikhailovskaya. The movement will be restricted in connection with the preparation and holding of the All-Ukrainian Thanksgiving holiday, the press service of the Moscow mayor's office reports.. Also from 00:00 on September 17 until 00:00 on September 18 will restrict movement along the two extreme right lanes of Khreshchatyk Street on the stretch from Bessarabskaya Square to Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street in the direction of the traffic to the European Square. This is due to the need to enter the participants of the event with reduced physical capabilities.
The holiday itself will be held on Khreshchatyk on September 17 from 10:00 to 17:00. Its organizer is the Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine. The program of the event includes divine services, a festival of social projects, a street cinema, a speech by Nick Vuichich and a concert. As reported, in August on Khreshchatyk repeatedly blocked the movement because of the rehearsals of the parade on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
