Such data are contained in the response of the capital's law enforcers to the request of the deputy of the Kyiv City Council Alexander Pabat. According to the information provided, the city police recorded 329 suicides in 2013, 383 in 2014, and 432 suicides in 2015 and 377 in 2016.

Law enforcers also noted that approximately 60 percent of all suicides are among citizens aged 18 to 59 years. Also, 30 percent of suicides are already retirement age.
