The report says that the Office for Investigating Particularly Important Cases of the Main Investigative Directorate of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, together with the Criminal Procedures Department of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine, completed pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion of the leading specialist of the advertising department of the city administration and architecture department of the Kyiv City Council's executive body. Undue benefits.

It is reported that the said official of the Kyiv City Council demanded and received from the individual entrepreneur an undue advantage in the amount of 52 thousand UAH for failure to act on the dismantling of outdoor advertising objects located on the facades of shops that actually belong to the entrepreneur.

With respect to the official, criminal proceedings were opened on h. 3 items. 368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an improper benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

At the moment, the indictment in the said criminal proceedings was sent to the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv for examination on the merits.

It was also noted that a civil servant is facing a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years, with confiscation of property.
