Kiev's debt for electricity as of May 1 exceeded more than one billion hryvnia, Kyivenergo said. In April, it grew by 83.5 million. At the same time, the residents of Kiev owed UAH 373.2 million, and the rest - enterprises. "The largest debtors are consumers Darnitsky (54.5 million hryvnia), Svyatoshinsky (42.3 million hryvnia) and Solomensky (41.7 million hryvnia) areas," - said in a statement. Among the enterprises the largest debtor was the Kiev Metro.

"Life support companies of the city of communal ownership in April increased the debts for electricity by 34.1 million hryvnia - up to 404.9 million. The largest debtor OJSC AK "Kyivvodokanal" - increased the amount of debt to 158.3 million hryvnia. KP "Kiev Metro" - up to 67.2 million hryvnia, "the message says.. It should be noted that in Ukraine 70 percent of payments for gas are paid by subsidies and benefits. Also recall that in March, the debts of Ukrainians for utilities fell by 17.3 percent and amounted to 21.688 billion hryvnia.
