According to the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, a number of public organizations have applied to temporarily decorate the Arch in the colors of the rainbow. However, other activists opposed this decision.
"Someone began to say that it was, allegedly, some kind of symbolism, hinting at certain organizations.
I have a photo of 2010, when the arch was illuminated with different colors, and no one had any comments, "Klitschko noted. At the same time, the Moscow authorities believe that on the site that remains uncovered, a fragment of Ukrainian ornament will be placed. Also, Vitali Klitschko is sure that there should be no conflicts on this ledger.
Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", on the Internet there were photos of the modified Arch of Friendship of Peoples in Kiev. It is sealed with five different colors.
