Kievgaz stopped gas supply to 17 boiler houses, responsible for the supply of hot water in seven districts of the capital, because of debts of Kyivenergo, the press service of the latter. It is noted that 17 boiler houses provide about 107 buildings with hot water during the inter-heating season, in Podolsky, Desnyansk, Darnitskiy, Solomensk, Shevchenkivsky, Obolonsky and Goloseevsky districts of Kiev. At the same time, among them there are 93 houses, 9 pre-school and school establishments and more than 5 departmental buildings.

"Gas supply was terminated due to Kievenergo's debts to Kievgaz for gas transportation services in the amount of UAH 205.5 million. As of April 1, 2017, Kyivenergo's debt for consumed gas rose to almost UAH 4.5 billion, "it was informed.. The press service added that the reason for the growth of Kyivenergo's debt for gas is the increase in consumers' debts for heat. As you know, the shutdown of hot water in Kiev was stopped due to cold snap. Note that the debt of Ukrainians for public utilities as of February reached almost a billion dollars.
