How can a pensioner pass identification?.

The PFU explained that in 2026, identification methods will remain unchanged. The recipient of payments can:.

personally contact any PFU service center or banking institution where an account for pension/insurance payments is opened, with an identification document;

pass identification using video conferencing;

log in to your personal electronic account on the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine using a qualified electronic signature “Diya”. Signature\;

in case of stay abroad - send a certificate from the relevant foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine of the fact that the person is alive, together with a written application for the extension of pension payment (insurance payment), drawn up in any form, by postal means (registered mail).
