There are currently six projects within the framework of defense cooperation between Ukraine and Germany. This is just the beginning, President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Ukrinform reported on Monday, May 11.

" I think this is a real step forward, a strong step. We can already count on six projects. But I think this is just the beginning of our relationship at miltech,” he said.

Zelensky said that he would discuss with Pistorius a 10-year drone agreement between Ukraine and Germany.

He thanked Germany for the already provided military support worth 28.6 billion euros, as well as for the agreements in the field of air defense.

Let us remind you that Germany and Ukraine are expanding the production of drones with a range of action from less than 100 km to 1500 km. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said this at a briefing with his Ukrainian counterpart Mikhail Fedorov in Kyiv.

Also today, Pistorius and Fedorov signed a letter of intent in Kyiv to launch Brave Germany, a joint program for the development of defense technologies and support for innovative startups.
