Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and social benefits. Some pensioners must undergo an identification procedure to receive pension payments. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Donetsk region told how pensioners can undergo physical identification.

How can pensioners get identified?.

The PFU explained that there are five ways to pass identification:.

Online using " Signature" You need to log into your personal account on the PFU web portal using " Signature" Identity will be confirmed automatically.

Video call - an application can be submitted using the PFU web portal (without logging into your personal account) in the section " A Foundation specialist will contact the person to conduct a video conference session.

Through a diplomatic office (abroad). Pensioners who are abroad can contact the diplomatic institutions of Ukraine and receive a document certifying the fact that the person is alive. This document must be submitted to the PFU.

Personal visit - you can visit any PFU service center in the controlled territory of Ukraine.

At an authorized bank office. Recipients of pensions or other payments made through an authorized bank can be identified directly at the bank branch. To do this you need to present an identity document. The bank carries out identification and transmits the relevant information to the financial institution.
