The PFU noted that “Yasla” assistance has been introduced since 2026. It is intended for one of the parents or legal representative of the child who actually cared for him and, after the child reaches one year, returns to work or begins to work full-time.
" Its size in 2026 is 8 thousand hryvnia per month, and in the case of caring for a child with a disability - 12 thousand hryvnia,” Semenyuk said.
According to her, “Yasla” is a state aid that allows parents to partially pay for child care, in particular the services of a nursery, nanny or private kindergarten.
“Funds can be used exclusively for official child care services provided by entities with relevant activities. A prerequisite is the conclusion of a formal contract with the service provider.
